Attorney Trust Account & Sworn Translation Services
The SekuraLaw Family is proud to inform that as of 2021 we will boast two new services:
1.- SekuraLaw Escrow Service
This Escrow service works as an Attorney Trust Account, where SekuraLaw—as the client’s attorney—will hold their funds in an assigned Escrow file, specifically set up for the real estate transaction, until we receive their written instructions to make disbursements.
In this case, SekuraLaw represents the client’s best interests and only requires the client’s written authorization to make the corresponding movements of the designated Escrow file; no one else’s signature will grant authorization.
This is an extremely useful tool in order for the client to avoid making several international wire transfers to the various parties involved in a closing i.e., Notary Public, Trustee Bank, Law Firm, etc.
2.- SekuraLaw Sworn Translation Service
In accordance with article 15 of the Regulation for persons who can act as experts before the Organs of the Judicial Power of the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico, SekuraLaw officially offers Sworn Translation Services for international documents that need a valid translation from English into Spanish, and vice versa, and a valid translation from French into Spanish, and vice versa.
SekuraLaw is glad to facilitate the translation of official documents, which is often needed for several procedures during the closing process, therefore allowing the process to be seamless.
All in all, SekuraLaw continues to expand with a view to offering a wide variety of services to make your overall experience in the Riviera Maya as smooth and stress-free as possible.
We look forward to assisting you!
